Tkon is a small village located on the island of Pašman, the second largest island of the Zadar archipelag of 63 km2. Pašman Island is from mainland by 2-5 km wide Pašman Channel. To the northwest the island Pašman is connected with island Ugljan by a bridge. Tkon is connected to the mainland by regular ferry boat Tkon-Biograd na moru. Turanj is a tourist town located 5km from Biograd na Moru . It stretches along the 4 km long coastline, it is located in the Pašman channel surrounded by an archipelag of 16 islands. Biograd na Moru is located in the central Adriatic coast, 28km far from Zadar. Nearby are four national parks:  Kornati ,  Krka ,  Paklenica  and  Plitvička jezera and two historic towns: Zadar and Šibenik.
